New partnership in leather education

Two of the most prominent academic institutions in the leather sector have established a new partnership.
A meeting took place at the end of April between faculty members of Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen (LGR), Germany, and The University of Northampton, UK to formalise the new partnership.
Northampton has been the nucleus for leather education in the UK for 30 years, whereas as LGR has 54 years of expertise. Commentators have said that this means the new partnership will help the institutions create a new world standard in training and development in the leather sector.
