The president of Bangladesh, Professor Iajuddin Ahmed, has called on Turkey to strengthen its already healthy trading relationship with his country, with leather one of the sectors in which he sees good potential.
Professor Iajuddin made the remarks in a farewell meeting with Turkey's outgoing ambassador to Bangladesh.
The president said he hoped Turkey would import more leathergoods, textiles, pharmaceuticals and ceramic products from his country.
