Final Fimec figures released

The organisers of the Fimec exhibition in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, which took place between April 8 and 11, have released the final visitor numbers for the 2008 event.
In total, 50,075 professionals from 47 countries visited the fair. Chief executive of organising company Fenac, Júlio Cézar Camerini, said: “All of our expectations came true. It’s difficult to calculate the result in terms of money because negotiations started here will take a few months to complete [but] everyone could tell that people linked to the sector, business people, engineers, technicians, stylists, designers and store owners, among others, were circulating through the corridors. These are people who actually deal with this market and this makes a huge contribution to the final result of the event.”
