Two die in tannery tragedy

An accident at a tannery in Lima has resulted in the deaths of two workers.
A man of 26 and a youth of 17 died when they fell into a vat filled with chemicals at the Mantaro tannery in the Huachipa district of the Peruvian capital.
The emergency services arrived on the scene quickly but could do no more than retrieve the bodies from the toxic substances.
