During the month of February 2008, Pakistan’s leather sector exports showed a growth of 25.8% to $99.1 million from $78.7 million in January 2008 and also up by 44.2% if compared with February 2007 ($68 million), according to data released by the government’s Federal Bureau of Statistics.
Pakistan’s total leather sector exports during the first eight months of the current financial year are also up by 23.9% to $776.9 million from $626.973 million in same period last year.
