A year 3 student at the University of Northampton, Chris Taylor, has won a trip to Hong Kong for the APLF exhibition, from March 31 to April 2.
The prize is for winning a competition to design a bag for Fashion Access, part of the APLF event. Chris came first in the male bag category for Hong Kong on 1 April.
His design was for a work-bag in hard blue leather, inspired by 1980s British Rail diesel trains. On hearing of his success Chris commented: “Winning this competition is a great opportunity for me to grow as a fashion designer. Travelling to Hong Kong is an amazing experience and I hope to gain a lot from it.”
