Luxury on offer as A380 completes commercial European flight

The first commercial flight to Europe of the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Boeing A380, touched down at London’s Heathrow airport on March 18.
The Singapore Airlines flight touched down 15 minutes ahead of schedule with 449 passengers on board, 12 of them travelling in special suites that the airline has opted for in its configuration of the aeroplane.
This luxury on-board accommodation includes a sliding door for privacy inside each suite, a high-quality leather seat, a flat-screen television and a bed. Two suites can join together to form a double bed.
