Brazil’s leather exports drop drastically

Currency fluctuations have caused a considerable drop in the levels of leather exports leaving Brazil.
Information released by the federal government, based on a report from the Association of Tanning Industries of Rio Grande do Sul (AICSul), have shown that export volumes fell by 23% during the first two months of this year compared to the same period in 2007.
