BASF wins plaudits for new report

Chemical supplier BASF has published its 2007 annual report combining, for the first time the company’s financial and sustainability reporting in a single publication.
By integrating data related to the environment and social responsibility in its financial reporting, BASF has responded to the advice of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an independent organisation that has developed global guidelines to ensure transparent sustainability reporting. GRO has confirmed that the new bASF report meets its highest application level, A+.
