Hides and Skins: Net sales of 233,100 pieces were down 63 per cent from the previous week and 59 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 228,900 pieces were mainly for China (129,600 pieces), South Korea (30,700 pieces), Japan (28,400 pieces), Taiwan (23,500 pieces), and Thailand (17,300 pieces). Decreases of 17,900 pieces were for Italy. Exports of 455,500 pieces were down 26 per cent from the previous week and 14 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 450,000 pieces were mainly to China (255,500 pieces), South Korea (62,700 pieces), Taiwan (43,500 pieces), Mexico (28,700 pieces), and Hong Kong (28,100 pieces). 

Net sales of 136,100 wet blues were up 17 per cent from the previous week and 1 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were mainly for Taiwan (40,600 unsplit), Hong Kong (27,400 unsplit), the Dominican Republic (20,600 grain splits and 3,200 unsplit), China (22,600 grain splits), and Mexico (8,900 grain splits and 4,400 unsplit). Exports of 175,400 hides were up 20 per cent from the previous week and the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Taiwan (43,200 unsplit and 1,600 grain splits), China (37,100 unsplit and 2,800 grain splits), the Dominican Republic (20,900 grain splits and 5,200 unsplit), Italy (20,700 unsplit), and Hong Kong (10,600 unsplit). 

Net sales of splits totalling 470,500 pounds resulted as increases for Hong Kong (242,000 pounds), China (175,500 pounds), South Korea (135,000 pounds), and Italy (44,000 pounds) were partially offset by decreases for Taiwan (126,000 pounds). Exports of 955,500 pounds were down 9 per cent from the previous week and 7 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were Hong Kong (544,000 pounds), South Korea (135,000 pounds), Italy (135,000 pounds), and China (131,500 pounds).
