Stahl holds shoe finishing seminar in China
Stahl Asia Pacific recently held its first Shoe Finishing Technical seminar at the company’s new application laboratory in Shanghai, China, which was attended by delegates from around the globe including China, Brazil, Taiwan and the UK and from big name companies such as Clarks.
Run over three days, the course was developed and managed by Fernando Walther, sales manager for the region, and Jerry Wu and Gary Gao, sales technicians, and included both practical and theoretical content aimed at providing an overview of the shoe-making process and the advantages of applying shoe dressings to sole and upper materials. The event also highlighted the reasons for and the importance of preparation and testing coatings to ensure that they are suitable for different substrates.
