Lamarthe’s results underscore continued strength
Underscoring the continued strength of major luxury brands in spite of the ongoing economic worries, French manufacturer of high-end leather goods and accessories Lamarthe has reported a strong performance in 2007.
The company, which produces goods under the Lamarthe, Sportsac and Kallisté brands, posted turnover of €16.25 million for the full year, an impressive 13.9% higher than in 2006, driven largely by high demand for its Sportsac goods and higher sales in new markets such as Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
With a retail presence in more than 25 countries around the world, as well as its facilities in France the group also operates a design office in Italy, a subsidiary in Spain and a production facility in Romania.
