Global appeal at APLF
APLF – Materials, Manufacturing and Technology (MM&T) 2008, which will open in Hong Kong on 31 March and will run until 2 April, will host some 19 country pavilions from around the globe this spring including, for the first time, a group of leather manufacturers from Egypt. Other pavilions will also be present from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK and the USA.
In terms of individual exhibitors, the show has attracted 58 new exhibitors (as of January 8), almost half of which from China and which will showcase new products across varied sectors such as hides & skins, tanning machinery, man-made leathers, synthetic & natural materials, component & accessories, technology, and semi-finished & finished leathers.
