The SAK names creative director

San Francisco-based handbag brand The SAK and Elliott Luca has promoted Lorae Russo to the position of creative director. She was previously an accessories designer at the company, but takes up her new position immediately.

She said she had more than a decade of design experience to bring to the role and that she was confident of being able to help the brand—for which she said she cared passionately—to grow.

The SAK bags sell for under $200 in department stores across the US. Elliott Luca products, which typically come in suede or exotic leathers, sell for up to $400.
