CEO takes new role at Bradington-Young

13/12/2007

North Carolina-based leather upholstery manufacturer Bradington-Young has announced a surprise change in role for its chief executive, Scott Young.

From the start of February, Mr Young will step down from his current position and become the company's senior vice-president for merchandising and product development.

The company said immediately that the move had come about as a result of Mr Young's own decision. Alan Cole, executive vice-president for upholstery at parent company, Hooker, said on making the announcement: "This was initiated by Scott, and will allow him to focus on what he truly loves and is so talented at doing, and that is developing product and merchandising.”
