ALCA calls for papers
The American Leather Chemists Association (ALCA) is now calling for papers to be presented at its 104th Annual Meeting to be held in Greensboro, NC, on June 19-22.
It is seeking recently completed or soon-to-be-completed research studies relevant to hide preservation, hide and leather defects, leather manufacturing technology, new product development, tannery equipment development, leather properties and specifications, tannery environmental management, or other related subjects.
For interested parties, abstracts of no more than 300 words in English should be submitted, preferably as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document, to the chair of the Technical programme Stephen Yanek (Stephen.yanek@setonco.com). Submissions should begin with the title in capital letters, followed by the author’s names, with the name of the speaker denoted by an asterisk, and should have the author’s contact information including an e-mail address.
