UK-based BLC Leather Technology Centre Ltd has made new appointments in its technical and sales teams.

Having worked as a research chemist at Clariant’s paper chemicals division for the past eight years Ben Halmshaw has joined BLC’s technical team as head of Analytical Services. He holds a BSc Hons in Chemistry and a PhD in Colour Chemistry.

Meanwhile, Tracey Faulkner has joined the BLC sales team in the role of sales manager, in which she will look at new ideas and approaches to further developing BLC’s relationships with existing customers and generating new business as well as managing the sales team.

BLC provides a range of services to the leather industry, covering areas from raw material through to the finished product in retail.
