Police seize counterfeit luxury goods
Toronto police arrested eight people and seized counterfeit luxury goods estimated to be worth some C$10 million ($9.972 million) at the weekend, in an operation that began in May this year to investigate the operations of a retail outlet in the city.
The goods seized included footwear, purses, wallets, clothing, jewellery and luggage bearing brand names such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Coach, Fendi, Armani, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Nike, Prada, and Puma.
