New hot melt adhesive launched

American developer of auto-feed screw gun technologies PAM Fastening has launched a new acrylic hot melt adhesive — UX8012 — that is said to apply a strong, clear finish bond to a variety of materials, including leather, and substrates.
Designed for use on finished or unfinished leather, UX8012 is said to provide a non-visible bond that sets in just 60 seconds but offers a similar performance to more costly permanent pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive.

"Since the bond is clear, non-visible and superior in strength, the adhesive can be applied to numerous consumer products in the furniture and upholstery business as well as a variety of others," explained Ed Minchew, president. "Once bonded, the bond is barely noticeable to the human eye."
