New fatliquoring agent from TFL
German chemical company TFL has launched a new fatliquoring agent for soft nappa articles.
Developed as a solution for tanners searching for an agent with excellent electrolyte and storage stability that is pourable and easy to dilute, Coripol GF is said to be particularly suitable as a main fatliquor for all soft nappa, suede and split articles such as garment, upholstery and footwear. It is also recommended for use on double-face as it imparts a silky fee to the wool and helps to reduce dust fixation.
The new agent produces leather with high inner softness, very good light fastness, heat yellowing properties and provides a pleasant touch and a very good dyeability.
Furthermore, as it is based on selected fatty substances from renewable natural resources the product has good exhaustion and is said to contribute little to the COD value of tannery wastewater.
