Experts to lead seminars
Footwear industry experts from Italy, Hong Kong and China will take part in discussions with manufacturers at the sixth Dongguan China Shoes and China Shoetec events which will be held next week (November 28-30). Topics covered will include the difficulties facing shoes factories, the direction for development, analysis, forecasts for the footwear industry, and channels for entering the Chinese domestic market.
Massimo Donda, president of Italy’s Federcalzature will make a presentation "At the Feet of Success - How to Build a Successful Brand?" and will highlight the success stories of three Italian brands, Fratelli Rossetti, Manas, and Fornarina; Dongguan China Shoes will also host a summit conference between brand shoe manufacturers, department stores and shopping centres; the Hong Kong Footwear Association, Global Footwear and the event organisers will hold a seminar on "The Survival and Development of Shoe Manufacturers in Pearl River Delta Region"; Dai Chun Hua, an expert on the retail industry in China, will give a speech on "How a Shoe Manufacturer Successfully Transforms into a Shoe Brand in the China Retail Market?"; and finally Dr C.O. Chan, an industrial and training consultant will present, "Sharing of a Successful Experience of a Shoe Manufacturer by Implementation of LEAN Management System".
