New Belle acquires five footwear firms
New Belle Footwear (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China’s largest ladies’ footwear retailer Belle International Holdings Ltd., is to acquire five subsidiaries of Jiangsu Senda Group Co., Ltd. for approximately 1.6 billion yuan ($215,575,316).
The company’s involved, all of which are based in China, are Jiangsu Senda Footwear Co., Ltd., which manufactures, distributes and retails footwear products under the brand name Senda; Zigui Yongxu Footwear Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Senda Group Sanxia Footwear Co., Ltd., which both produce footwear components and accessories; Shanghai Basto Footwear Co., Ltd., which distributes and retails footwear products under the brand name Basto; and Shanghai Xiweideng International Trading Co., Ltd., which distributes footwear under the Clarks brand name.
