Stahl launches three new whites
Netherlands-based developer and manufacturer of leather chemicals Stahl has launched three new whites — Tropical White, Iceberg White and Icicle White. According to the company, rather than requiring new products these latest whites apply new approaches to the processing and finishing of existing products with the aim of avoiding the numerous and expensive applications often needed to produce very white leathers for applications such as sports footwear.
Combining colours such as blue and yellow to produce subtle variations Stahl has developed a warm tone in Tropical White alongside colder, bluer tones in Iceberg and Icicle Whites to create leathers which it says provide “exceptional performance and uniformity”.
The company also plans to introduce a second special white finishing system aimed at ‘softee milled’ leathers in the near future.
