Profits rise at BASF India

BASF India Ltd has posted profits of Rs24.09 crore (approximately $6.09 million) for the quarter ended September 30, 18.26% higher than the Rs20.37 crore ($5.15 million) reported for the same period last year.
The company, a subsidiary of Germany’s BASF AG, manufactures tanning agents, leather chemicals, textile chemicals, specialty chemicals, plastics, crop protection chemicals, automotive and coil coatings and polystyrene.
