Speaking to local media, Ethiopia’s State Minister of Trade and Industry Tadesse Haile announced that the Ethiopian Leather Industries Association (ELIA) will host the All-African Leather Fair (AALF) 2008 in January.

With a growing leather industry and having successfully hosted The Meet in Africa leather fair in 2004, the country has high hopes for the show — which will take place in Addis Ababa on January 24-26 — with organisers expecting to attract in excess of 300 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors.
