15/10/2007

French luxury goods group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has reported group revenues of €11.4 billion for the first nine months of 2007, reflecting organic growth of 13% compared with the same period in the prior year. According to the company, growth accelerated in the third quarter, building on the already “very favourable trends” at the beginning of the year and the “exceptional performance” of its Louis Vuitton brand.

Its Fashion & Leather Goods business group achieved 14% organic revenue growth during the first nine months, with Louis Vuitton recording double-digit organic revenue growth as a result of particularly active business in Europe, the USA and Asia. Fendi also posted strong growth, driven by its leather goods lines whilst other brands, notably Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Loewe, were also said to have performed well.
