US-based accessories company Tumi has introduced a new Italian leather designer handbag collection designed by Nautica founder, David Chu, for the active, sophisticated woman.

The range comprises seven traditional handbag styles, including hobos, shoulder totes and satchels. Its colours for autumn are black, brown and bright yellow in natural pebbled calfskin leather with contrast stitching and silver clasps. Other design details include oversized leather zip pulls and faille linings.

Mr Chu said: "I love to design for women. Women really appreciate style and luxury. The collection is about silhouette, texture, beautiful detailing and colour. For me a pop of colour is fun, impulsive and a great way to accessorise."
