Positive period for Slovenian leather sector

Figures for August show that, although overall export prices were level with those reported in July, leather and leather goods prices showed the highest increase (+1.4%).
Meanwhile, while wholesale prices for the month were lower, the tanning and fur and clothing production industries showed an increase of 1.5%.
For the year, overall prices decreased slightly from 4.3% to 4.2%. However, leather and leather goods prices were reportedly 8.4% above average.
