Colourful leather a hit at Milan Fashion Week

Leather has appeared in various guises so far during Milan Fashion week.
While Anna Molinari showcased brightly coloured leather jackets to contrast with feminine, baby-doll dresses in pastel shades, the Iceberg collection presented black, gem-encrusted leather alongside gold plastic for barely-there dresses to give a punk rock look.
The theme for Prada’s show was lightness. However, alongside airy, flowing fabrics, leather appeared on long skirts as well as in multicoloured leather shoes. The eye-catching footwear featured jewel detailing, ceramic flowers and ultra-high heels, and was teamed with colourful patterned tights.
