New head of textile, leather and paper at Clariant

Swiss speciality chemicals company Clariant has appointed Peter Brandenberg head of its textile, leather and paper division, effective immediately. Mr Brandenberg will continue to serve as member of its board of management.

Currently responsible for services and international coordination, he replaces Philippe Royer, who is leaving the company.

In order to cover Mr Brandenberg’s current role, head of the pigments and additives division, Okke Koo, will now also be responsible for Europe, while head of the functional chemicals division, Siegfried Fischer, will assume additional responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region. Head of masterbatches, Dominik von Bertrab, will take on responsibility for North America, while head of group HR, Johann Steiner, will temporarily be responsible for special markets.

Mr Brandenberg will retain responsibility for Latin America in addition to his new role. He will also be in charge of group services on a temporary basis.
