New garment accessories project

Hong Kong and Bangladesh will set up a garments accessories manufacturing plant in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone in a joint venture with an investment of US$9.5 million.
The jointly owned company, named Yester Accessories, will manufacture a wide range of garment accessories, some of them such as patches and belts, using local leather.
The joint venture is expected to create almost 600 jobs.
