Laboratory launch

Extension and refurbishment of the research and development laboratory has been completed at Argentinian leather chemical product supplier Pellital. This is the final part of an infrastructure improvement plan, which has coincided with the launch of the company's new web site.
Pellital produces chemicals in Argentina and exports them to countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia, and is also the regional representative of Münzing Chemie and Novozymes.
“We now have two perfectly defined sections,” said the head of the research and development laboratory, José Stella, on announcing the project completion, “the physical and chemical test lab and the mini-tannery or product application area where our chemicals are tested. The lab also has new physical and chemical test equipment. These new installations will help us widen our markets as they make it possible for us to work with different production systems.”
He added that Pellital's ISO certification process is also nearing completion.
