Pakistan leather production data

According to new data from the government’s federal bureau of statistics, Pakistan produced 10% more leather for footwear uppers in the year to June than in corresponding period last year.
The amount of leather Pakistan’s tanneries produced for this market over the 12-month period was almost 19 million square-metres.
By contrast, production of leather for soles registered no growth for the same period.
