New study looks at US leather sector

Irish distributor of market research reports, Research and Markets, has added another leather title to its product range.
The company is making available to customers a new study of the leather and footwear manufacturing sector in the US, including its overseas trade projections, imports and exports, until 2009.
It says, for example, that sector's turnover in 2006 was just over $6 billion, with profits reaching $1.45 billion. In all, 1,347 companies were involved in the US leather industry in 2006.
