20/08/2007
Specialist chemicals manufacturer DyStar has announced that it is to sell its leather finishing business. The company will focus its leather business now on wet-end activities.
In making the announcement, it said it would transfer its leather finishing activities to Heim Chemical, whose managing director, Klaus Freund, headed up DyStar's finishing business until recently.
The companies aim to complete the transfer next month.
DyStar's head of wet-end operations, Dr. Michael Breitsamer, said: "We will continue to invest in wet-end activities and aim to position DyStar as a specialist full-solution provider for wet-end processes."
