Tandy has signed a licence agreement to sell high-end sandals, belts and small leathergoods from designer and manufacturer Geno D’Lucca.

Based in Mexico, Geno D’Lucca is renowned for its commitment to old-world construction and rich, full-grain design elements. The company’s array of leather goods is sold in high-end department stores throughout Mexico and Spain.

“We believe Geno D’Lucca represents the kind of authentically unique, old-world leather design that will find a very receptive audience at better department stores in the US,” said Britt Jenkins, president and chief executive officer of Tandy.

Designer and company president of the Mexican firm, Geno D’Lucca commented: “We’re excited by this agreement. It will help us expand into the US marketplace and build our company into a global brand.”
