A delegation from a Vietnamese company, Khanh Viet Corporation, is about to embark on a tour of Brazilian tanneries in the hope of securing more leather from Brazil for use in the Vietnamese footwear industry.
Last year, Vietnam secured only 2.1% of Brazil’s leather exports, but the delegation will hold talks with the Centre of the Tannery Factories of Brazil (CICB) and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX), in its attempts to increase that share.
