US retailer and wholesale distributor of leather, leatherworking tools, dyes and finishes Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has reported July sales of $4.3 million — 11% higher than the $3.9 million posted for the same period last year. Year-to-date sales improved 2% to $32.4 million from $31.7 million.

Retail Leathercraft posted sales of $1.9 million for July, 17% higher than the $1.6 million reported for July 2006, whilst sales at its Wholesale Leathercraft division improved 6% to $2.3 million.
