Exhibitor number up 40% at Iran fair

The ninth International Leather Fair, which took place in Tabriz, Iran, from July 12-15, has been branded a success.
The event attracted 40% more exhibitors compared with the previous show, including 168 local companies, 15 Turkish companies and other representatives from Syria, Taiwan, Belgium, Italy and Spain. Products on show included handbags, footwear and finished leather as well as machinery and chemicals. Leatherfair 365 and World Leather magazine also exhibited at the fair.
Exhibition space was 45% larger than at the previous show.
