The International Fair for Argentinean Footwear (EFICA) and the Fashion and Leathergoods Exhibition (CEMCA) are to be held simultaneously from July 29-31 at the Costa Salguero Centre, in Buenos Aires. 300 exhibitors will showcase collections for the spring/summer 2007/08 season.

A wide variety of locally produced footwear designs will be on show at EFICA and between 12,000 and 15,000 visitors are expected to attend. 

More than 100 leather goods exporters will participate at CEMCA and goods will include saddlery, travel goods, gifts and fashion accessories. A small group of raw materials and components suppliers will also take part.

The Chamber for the Footwear Industry of Argentina (CIC) has organised a foreign buyers' mission for the event. These visitors will learn about the local industry and meet shoe and leather manufacturers and exporters.

CEMCA will be celebrating its 60^th anniversary at the event.
