Johnson Controls posts record sales

US producer of automotive interiors Johnson Controls, Inc. has reported record sales of $8.9 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2007, up from $8.4 billion for the same period in 2006.

According to the company, the increase reflected higher sales in all segments of the business, especially in its North America systems and services division as well as its global workplace solutions. Growth was also driven by increased customer demand for solutions that reduce operating costs and improve energy efficiency, comfort and safety.
