Belgium-based footwear retailer The Brantano Group has posted consolidated turnover of €152.2 million for first six months, up 8.5% from the €140.3 million achieved in the comparable period in 2006.

Belgium (including Luxembourg) accounted for 47.3% of the total turnover at €71.9 million, whilst the United Kingdom (including the Middle East) represented 52.7% at €80.2 million.

At the end of June, Brantano operated 286 retail outlets—129 in Belgium (including Luxembourg), 146 in the United Kingdom and 11 franchise stores in the Middle East.
