Dutch chemicals provider Stahl recently showcased its latest leather collection at a fashion event in Santa Croce, Italy. The aim of the event was to allow local tanners to prepare their new leather collections for the autumn/winter 2008/2009 season and also to enable the Stahl Design Studio to present new ideas and predictions early enough to incorporate the valuable feedback into the final versions of the company’s Trend Books and Colour Forecast brochure.

During the week-long event Stahl presented fashion trend boards and a large collection of material swatches to a series of smaller audiences, rather than one large group, in order that the company could hear the specific needs of individual customers and designers.

The trends on show were divided into the six themes of Daily Luxury, Electric Party, Eco-Energy, Up-dated Vintage, History Surfing, and Athletic Show-off.
