US specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of leather, leatherworking tools,  dyes and finishes Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has opened a new retail store in Knoxville, Tennessee. The new outlet is the seventh of twelve planned store openings for 2007 and brings the number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 69. Commenting on the company’s expansion, CEO and President, Ron Morgan, said, “Our planned store expansion is on track for 2007. The Knoxville store is our third retail store in Tennessee as we now have stores spread geographically to cover the state.”

The company distributes its products through 29 Leather Factory stores, located in 19 US states, 69 Tandy Leather retail stores, located in 32 states, and Mid-Continent Leather Sales, one store located in Oklahoma.
