Flame Seal begins shipments for Atlas Refinery

US manufacturer of flame resistant products for leather Flame Seal has begun its first ‘programme’ shipments to meet the increasing demand for fire retardant aircraft leather currently being experienced at its global distributor to the leather industry, Atlas Refinery, Inc.

Commenting on the high demand, Flame Seal’s president said, “The pace of shipments that we are now seeing translates to over 400,000 square feet of leather being treated every month. Not only is this the beginning of our growth from the efforts of the OEM program, but it is also the beginning of widespread use of this technology, which our team has worked so hard to bring about.”
