UK-based research and technology centre SATRA has achieved another milestone, having accredited its 1,000^th lab technician.

Liu Ying Ping, of the Simona Tanning Company in Guangdong, China, was presented with a commemorative certificate by Nicki Taylor, the company’s quality control manager, on behalf of the technology centre.

Formed in 1919 to serve the footwear industry SATRA now provides services to a wide range of sectors including furniture, safety products, clothing, floor coverings, leathergoods and fabric care. It is also a Notified Body for the EU Directives on personal protective equipment, toys, medical devices and construction products.
