US meat processor Smithfield Foods Inc. has named Carey Dubois vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 1. He has been treasurer of Smithfield since 2005.

Before joining the company he held financial positions at Bunge Limited, Pepsi Bottling Group, Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, and Louis Dreyfus Corporation. He succeeds Robert Manly IV, executive vice president, who has been serving as interim chief financial officer.
