May sales increased 2% to $4.5 million at US retailer and wholesaler of leather, and leather tools, dyes and finishes Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. The company’s Retail Leathercraft posted a 9% increase, with sales totalling $1.9 million compared with $1.7 million in May 2006, whilst Wholesale Leathercraft posted sales of $2.5 million, down 1% year-on-year.

Year-to-date sales also increased, rising 1% to $23.5 million from $23.3 million in the same period last year.
