US specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of leather, leatherworking tools, leather dyes and finishes, and saddle and tack hardware Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has opened a new store in Columbia, South Carolina. The company’s first outlet in the state, the store is the sixth of twelve planned store openings for 2007 and brings the number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 68.

The company distributes its products through 29 Leather Factory stores, 68 Tandy Leather retail stores, and Mid-Continent Leather Sales.
