With immediate effect, the Leather Business of Swiss specialty chemicals company Clariant has raised its prices for wet end chemicals in the Korean market by between 5% and 15%. Customers will be contacted directly as price changes will vary from product to product.

The company stated that the increases were due to continued rises in raw material, energy and logistics costs and to unsatisfactory margins.
